Because I am in the prison it is difficult for me to react against and for everything that I want to react. However, I would like to say that I am truly sorry to hear about the cowardly act in Germany, where a lorry ploughed into a Christmas market in Berlin, killed 12 people and wounded many others on December 20, 2016. These innocent people were preparing to celebrate and enjoy Christmas with their family and loved ones.
Any other similar attack on civilians should be seen as cowardly and senseless. Attacking and murdering civilians does not help anybody nor is contributing to someones sickening ideology. It does not serve any purpose, as the civilians are not only innocent but also cannot defend themselves. They are the ones who should be protected. Nobody should be thinking of targeting civilians because they are defenceless, and use them for their political or any other sickening purpose. This must be condemned.
I am very glad to say that leadership in Germany nowadays is one of the best of our time. And I believe that Angela Merkel and her team knows how to deal with such a cowardly act that took place.
With respect to everyone, this is what the problem is. The solution is something we all have to think about and we have to try to find a way to accomplish it. We have to ask ourselves what the solution is, how to solve this and everyone has to do whatever they can do.
